| Abstract
| - Poly(nonylbithiazole) isN-methylated with methyl triflate to give a new n-dopablepoly(ionomer), MPNBT, with formal positive charges on the ringN-atom. MPNBT is easily n-doped to give a conductive polymer witha calculated conductivity of 5 S/cm. The physical properties,optoelectrochemistry, etc., of MPNBT and characteristics of LEDsfabricated with MPNBT aredescribed.
