Abstract
  • The radical oxygen can be generated in the lattice of the new aluminum silicate, Ca12Al14-xSixO33+0.5x, with different Al/Si ratios. The three-dimensional structure of Ca12Al14-xSixO33+0.5x yields positively charged tetrahedral frameworks having molecular size pores occupied by charge-balancing dioxygen species such as O2- and O22-.
