Abstract	Neutron powder diffraction data for the Li-containing perovskite (Nd7/12Li1/4)TiO3 is compared to simulated patterns, showing that structural refinement should use a ∼4000 atom, 14ap × 28ap × 2ap supercell. To form the nano-checkerboard, periodic phase separation must therefore be occurring throughout the bulk powder sample.
