Abstract
  • The base-catalyzed hydroarsination reactions of(H3CC⋮CPPh2)Mo(CO)5and [H2CCCH(DBP)]Mo(CO)5(DBP= dibenzophosphole) give several different products as a function ofreaction conditions. These products havebeen characterized by elemental analyses, physical properties,1H, 13C{1H}, and31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy,and, in two cases, X-ray crystallography.
  • The complex[H2CCCH(DBP)]Mo(CO)5(2a‘, DBP = dibenzophosphole) reacts withPh2AsH to produce[cis-Ph2AsC(CH3)CH(DBP)]Mo(CO)5(H), I, andF.
