| Abstract
| - Enantiopure hybrids containing covalently linked POM clusters and 1,1‘-bi-2-naphthyl units have been prepared.
- The first chiral molecular hybrids based on covalently linkedpolyoxometalate clusters and enantiopure 1,1‘-binaphthyl units havebeen prepared. Their structures have been confirmed by 1H NMR,FTIR, and ESI-MS measurements. Such hybrids show moderatechiroptical behavior in solutions, and Cotton effects are observedup to 450 nm, indicating chiral extension from the binaphthyl coreto the cluster-containing π-conjugated arms.
