Abstract
| - The existence of both open and closed forms of the di- and tri-phosphine boranes (2) and (3) have been revealed spectroscopically, structurally, and theoretically.
- Spectroscopic, structural, and theoretical evidence is provided forboth open (no intramolecular P → B interaction) and closed (withintramolecular P → B interaction) forms of the di- and tri-phosphineboranes [o-(iPr2P)C6H4]2BPh (2) and [o-(iPr2P)C6H4]3B (3).
