Densities of carbon dioxide (1) + methanol (2) mixtures were measured with a variable-volume statictype of apparatus at three temperatures (313.2, 318.2, and 323.2 K) over a range of pressures (10 to 20MPa) for methanol-rich mole fractions (x2> 0.257). Molar volumes could be correlated to within about±0.1 cm3·mol-1 by combining a Redlich−Kister expression with a Tait type of equation.
