Abstract
| - The aerial parts of Cluytia richardianayielded five new modified 6,7-secolabdane diterpenederivatives, saudinolide (4), dihydrosaudinolide(5), 5β-hydroxyrichardianidin 1 (6), and5β-hydroxyrichardianidin 2 (7), and the6,7-seco-6,11-cyclo-20-norlabdane cluytene F (8).Thestructural assignments of the diterpenoids were based on their spectraldata, including 2DNMR experiments, and chemical derivatization. X-raycrystallographic analyses providedunambiguous characterization of the structures and relativestereochemistries of 4, 6, 7,and1-O-acetylcluytene F (10).
