Abstract	A simple and high-yielding protocol for the malonylationof some flavonoid glycosides isdescribed. The two-step synthesis is based on the regioselectiveenzymatic introduction of abenzylmalonyl group by catalysis with the lipase from Candidaantarctica, followed by Pd/Chydrogenolysis of the benzyl moiety.
