Abstract
  • Three new depsipeptides, malevamides A−C (1−3), were isolated from the cyanobacterium Symplocalaete-viridis collected off the south shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Compounds 1−3 were identified by spectralmethods, and partial stereochemical assignments were made by chiral HPLC of the hydrolyzed compounds.At a concentration of 2 μg/mL, compounds 1−3 were inactive against P-388, A-549, and HT-29 cancercells.
