Abstract
Sodium chlorite has been demonstrated to be capable ofepoxidizing a variety of olefins at 55−65 °C (oil bath).Chlorine dioxide is believed to be the pivotal epoxidizingagent in the reaction on the basis of the mechanistic studies.
