| Abstract
| - Comparative electrolysis experiments were performed at platinum electrodes in the presence of some aqueoussalt solutions at a concentration of 0.3 M and at the same imposed electrical potential, i.e., −1500 mV/SCE.A characteristic coalescence behavior, which is called the “train of coalescence”, was observed when ammoniagas was either electrogenerated from ammonium salt solutions or directly dissolved in the presence of somespecific electrolytes.
