Abstract
| - Single-crystal Sb2S3 nanowires were synthesized at a large scale by a facile organic molecule-assistedhydrothermal method. Such nanowires prefer to grow along the [001] direction. The as-prepared individualSb2S3 nanowire exhibits nonlinear current−voltage (I−V) characteristics, indicating its potential applicationsin electronic nanodevices. The dominant conduction mechanism was studied and proposed to be differentunder different ranges of electric field strengths, which was an ohmic mechanism at an electric field lowerthan 400 V/cm, Schottky emission at an electric field between 400 and 1200 V/cm, and a space chargelimited conduction at an electric field higher than 1200 V/cm, respectively.
