The structure of thermoreversible gels from syndiotactic poly(methyl methacrylate) hasbeen investigated in two solvents: bromobenzene and toluene. The small-angle neutron scatteringexperiments can be interpreted by considering a fibrillar nanostructure in which the basic fibrils aredouble helices of the type put forward recently while the aggregation of three of them generates thejunctions. In the wide q-range the neutron diffraction data can be theoretically reproduced by consideringthe same double-helical structure.
