Abstract
| - The Zr−Fe complex [HC{SiMe2N(2,3,4-F3C6H2)}3Zr−FeCp(CO)2] (1) reacts with 1,2-diphenylcyclopropenone to give [HC{SiMe2N(2,3,4-F3C6H2)}3Zr(μ-CO2)FeCp(CO)(C3Ph2)] (2). A single-crystal X-ray structure analysis has now established the molecular structureof the product of oxygen transfer of the cyclopropenoneto a carbonyl ligand. The chiral Fe center in complex 2bears a carbonyl, a cyclopropenylidene ligand, and theC atom of a μ2-η3-bridging CO2 ligand.
