Abstract
  • RSbH2 (R = (Me3Si)2CH; 1), a potentially useful reagent, and R(H)Sb−Sb(H)R (2), the first organodistibane hydride, are formed by reactions of RSbCl2 with LiAlH4. The crystal structure of 2 consists of molecules in the meso form.
  • RSbH2 (1) and R(H)Sb−Sb(H)R (2) (R =(Me3Si)2CH) are formed in good yield by reactions ofRSbCl2 with LiAlH4. The crystal structure of 2 consistsof molecules in the meso form.
