| - Two five-coordinate iron(II) chloride complexesbearing 2-imine-6-(methyl alcohol)pyridine chelates have beenprepared via an aluminum-mediated methyl migration routefrom the corresponding 2-acetyl-6-iminopyridine. Both ironcomplexes display moderate activity for ethylene polymerizationon treatment with excess methylaluminoxane, affording highlylinear polymers along with some oligomeric products.
