| Abstract
| - Is the father’s fall the motive force of History?. In this study I make a distinction between the father’s fall, which is a constant event in the history of each and the fall of the patriarchy, which is a modern event bringing freedom. I will try to show that this second fall is a new birth of the « symbolic » and that there is no producing new pathologies.
- Cet article distingue la « chute du père » qui est un événement constant de l’histoire de chacun et de l’histoire des religions, et la chute du patriarcat, événement libérateur des temps modernes. On montrera que cette deuxième chute renouvelle le symbolique, et qu’elle n’est nullement génératrice de nouvelles pathologies.
