| Abstract
| - À partir du développement des pratiques artistiques associatives, l’auteur interroge les motivations de l’engagement dans de telles activités. Quelques exemples permettent de faire l’hypothèse que l’investissement dans ces pratiques ne se comprend plus uniquement par un régime vocationnel mais aussi comme des façons de faire l’épreuve de soi selon les axes de la mise en commun et de la maîtrise de soi. Si la prétention à une reconnaissance sociale d’artiste attire, c’est que l’image de l’artiste apparaîtrait comme une « figure sociale éthique ».
- While referring to the emergence of associations-related artistic practices, the author questions the driving force behind the involvement in such activities. A few examples lead to a hypothesis according to which investment in these practices cannot anymore solely be understood through a vocational register, but as ways of testing oneself according to the axis of putting things in common and mastering oneself. If a hope for social recognition is attractive, it is because the image of the artist appears to be an “ethical social figure”.
