| - Résumé. Cet article examine les carrières dans un contexte global. Le domaine de la Gestion Internationale des Ressources Humaines peut être divisé en deux principaux courants de recherche, 1) la comparaison des pratiques et/ou la comparaison des attitudes et comportements des personnes concernant les questions RH entre différents pays, et 2) l’étude de la mobilité internationale et de l’expatriation. La carrière est une question centrale en gestion des ressources humaines et en gestion internationale des ressources humaines. Cet article sur les carrières globales s’organise autour de ces deux courants.
- Abstract. This article examines careers in a global context. The field of International Human Resource Management may be divided into two main research trends, 1) the comparison of HR practices and/or the comparison of the attitudes and behavior of people regarding HR issues between different countries, and 2) the study of international mobility and expatriation. Career is a central issue in Human Resource Management and in International Human Resource Management. This article on careers in a global context is organized along these two trends.
