| Abstract
| - The shelter and social and mental health care of young isolated foreigners confounds and challenges our practices, inviting us to modify our shelter and care facilities. This research forms part of the pilot study “Action Research on the Transcultural Skills of Professionals Working with Isolated Minors” initiated by Université Paris 13 and Université Paris Descartes. Collection of the qualitative data was carried out over three semi-structured interviews. Twenty-four young people were included. We conceived an original method of mediation based around three objects brought in by the young person to help give his or her personal narrative, which had often been mutilated by trauma. The main aim of this research is to evaluate how the discourse of young people changes during this interview, using a method of qualitative (narrative and thematic) analysis, and has established a framework of analysis for the objects they bring with them. The results show that this method has facilitated access to their stories, to the expression of their experiences, and to the singular representation of each of them.
- La acogida y la admisión social y psíquica de jóvenes extranjeros aislados desconciertan e interrogan nuestra práctica y nos incitan a modificar los dispositivos de acogida y de cuidados. Esta “Investigación-Acción” establecida por las Universidades Paris XIII y Paris Descartes trata del estudio piloto con menores aislados realizado por profesionales con competencias transculturales. Tres entrevista semi- estructuradas con veinticuatro jóvenes recogen algunos datos cualitativos. Para estimular la narración del joven traumatizado tres objetos aportados por él han sido utilizados como mediación original. Esta investigación ha evaluado las modificaciones del discurso del joven durante la entrevista gracias a un método de análisis cualitativo (narrativo y temático) estableciendo una clasificación de los objetos del joven. Los resultados demuestran que este método facilita el acceso a su historia, a la expresión de sus vivencias y a una representación singular de cada uno de ellos.
- L’accueil et la prise en charge sociale et psychique des jeunes isolés étrangers déroutent, questionnent nos pratiques et nous invitent à modifier nos dispositifs d’accueils et de soins. Cette recherche s’inscrit dans l’étude pilote « Recherche-action sur les compétences transculturelles des professionnels travaillant avec les mineurs isolés » initiée par les universités Paris-13 et Paris Descartes. Le recueil de données, qualitatif, s’est effectué lors de trois entretiens semi structurés. Vingt-quatre jeunes ont été inclus. Une méthode de médiation originale autour de trois objets apportés par le jeune a été pensée pour soutenir sa narrativité, souvent mutilée par le trauma. L’axe de cette recherche évalue les modifications du discours des jeunes pendant cet entretien par une méthode d’analyse qualitative (narrative et thématique) et a établi une grille d’analyse des objets rapportés. Les résultats montrent que cette méthode a facilité l’accès à leurs histoires, à l’expression de leurs vécus et à une représentation singulière de chacun.
