| Abstract
| - Sports medicines, physicians’ sports. When sports biographies find their way into the game of professional careers. Many and complex, sports medicines are supported by physicians with inevitably differentiated profiles. In the intimacy of the medical practice, inside the mechanised rooms of hospitals or in the public space of sports clubs, medical practitioners develop visions of the world which vary and are even occasionally conflicting. Based on a survey composed of questionnaires addressed to the 230 sports physicians of the Loire Atlantique area and on a series of interviews and ethnographic observations, the present research aims at interrogating the effects of individual sports biographies on the constitution of professional identities and on the contrasted structuring of sports medicine in France.
- Résumé. Plurielles et complexes, les médecines du sport sont portées par des médecins aux profils nécessairement différenciés. Dans l’intimité du cabinet, à l’intérieur des salles mécanisées de l’hôpital ou dans l’espace public du club sportif, les praticiens développent des visions du monde variées, parfois même opposées. Basée sur une enquête par questionnaire portant sur les 230 médecins du sport de la Loire Atlantique, une série d’entretiens, et des observations ethnographiques, cette recherche entend questionner les effets des biographies sportives individuelles sur la constitution des identités professionnelles et sur la structuration contrastée de la médecine du sport en France.
