| - The following corrections should be made in the review by Dr. E. W. Jones of Mr. J. M. B. Brown's Studies on British Beechwoods which appeared in Forestry, xxvii, number 2. Near the foot of page 153, for (61° C.) read (−6·1° C.). In the penultimate paragraph of the review, a bracket has strayed out of place and the last sentence should read ‘one should be critical even in assuming that the formation of mor is necessarily an evil (especially when humus on chalk soil is to be included under that definition)’. We regret, too, that at the head of the review, Dr. Jones's initials were put in the wrong order.
