Abstract
| - In “Heterogeneity of human killer cells with respect to lectin binding ability,” by Irena Frydecka, Barbara Slesak, and Miklos Benczur, pages 1145-1148, several author alterations were received after the manuscript went to press. These corrections occur on page 1145 and are as follows: Add “Antonina Harłozinska-Szmyrka” to author byline. Abstract, fifth sentence should read, “Our results suggested that Vep 13 antigen and PNA receptor are two distinct membrane structures, whereas there is some competitive binding between LEN as well as WGA lectin and VEP 13 antibody.” Second paragraph, first sentence should read, “There are only a few data available concerning the lectin-binding ability of human NK cells (6, 7), in spite of the fact that lectins serve as a useful approach to define specific carbohydrate structures of cell surface glycoproteins (8-11).”
