| - Readers should note the following correction for “Truth Telling to the Terminally Ill,” published in the March 1989 issue of Social Work (Volume 34, Number 2, pages 158-160). Susan Seidner Adler has asked that her name not be associated with the article and has requested that we publish a correction. The article had been reduced to fit the “Comments on Currents” section for which it had been accepted, and the reference list had been shortened significantly. Because of an error in the clearance process, Ms. Adler did not have the opportunity to review the final edited version of the article. Consequently, the information was not presented in its full dimension, and the author feels that the published article does not reflect her thinking, writing style, or views accurately.
