Abstract
  • Abstract. A young man was admitted to hospital twice for tick-borne relapsing fever. During his first attack he suffered from mild nephritis and pain in his loins; during the second there were massive haematuria and raised blood urea. Spirochaetes were found during the second attack only. The authors record for the first time cases of tick-transmitted relapsing fever contracted on the perimeter of the city of Jerusalem.
