Abstract
  • Abstract. The blood concentration of antimony expressed as PAT was determined at periods of 15 minutes to 21 days after doses of 30, 60, 120 and 240 μg. of the compound given intraperitoneally to mice. The relationship between blood concentration (y), dose (d) and time (t) was given byand small but significant interaction between dose and time was demonstrated. A further experiment confirmed the linear relationship but not the presence of interaction. For a single dose the concentration in both red cells and plasma was given by the functionas has been shown for whole blood. 4. A design using peripheral and central points has enabled data from a small number of experimental units to be fitted to a linear response surface.
