| - Résumé. Chaque acte de consommation ou presque génère une émission de gaz à effet de serre ( ges). Dès lors, certains groupes préconisent un rationnement de la consommation. Ainsi, les crags (Carbon Rationing Action Groups) forment un réseau de collectifs locaux oeuvrant en Grand-Bretagne. Leurs membres se réunissent pour tenter de réduire ensemble leurs émissions individuelles de ges, en se soumettant à un rationnement volontaire. En analysant les discours et les pratiques de ces collectifs, les auteurs mettent en lumière une question : Jusqu’à quel point la mise en place de ces actions locales et se voulant a-politiques est-elle possible dans une « société de consommation » ?
- Abstract . Each act of or almost act of consumption produces a greenhouse gas emission. Consequently, a type of rationing of consumption is indirectly required to reduce these emissions. crags ( Carbon Rationing Action Groups) are a network of local groups who operate in Great Britain. Their members work together to try to lower their individual carbon footprints by submitting to a voluntary form of rationing. By studying the words and actions of these groups, the authors highlight the following question : at what point would the creation of public policies on rationing engender a split from current norms of consumption ?
