But concerning organisations, research workers in management make an opposite observation\u00A0: today the project is declined at all the levels of the organisation. Co-operations, launching of new products, reorganization of service... are very often managed by project. But sticking to this would be reducing. Indeed it appears that this proliferation of the project also goes together with its transformation. Yesterday an expression of the belief in progress and science, it is today the privileged tool of change and continuous transformation. The first part of this article aims at showing how the project gradually emerged as one the prevailing paradigms of management. The second part tries and put forward the dangers to which the organisation exposes itself in front of this profusion of projects.
